3D Generalist 

£28,000 to £38,000 permanent, full-time. 
 
We are looking for a 3D Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be excited to work in a bustling studio environment and have the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously. With a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of visual composition and storytelling. The candidate will display exceptional and proactive creativity whilst also having a desire for learning, collaboration and creative/professional development and the ability to work to a strong brief. 
 
With offices in North London and Brighton, our team works collaboratively from both locations as well as working remotely. Although we are happy to support hybrid working, you will be required to commute to our offices from time to time. Due to the nature of the industry, there will also be a requirement to travel across the UK and the world and work outside of standard office hours. This will include evenings and weekends. 
 
Duties & Responsibilities will include: 
 
Creating and/or responding to storyboards to guide the animation process 
Developing high-quality 3D models and animations for projects across multiple platforms 
Working collaboratively with both internal and external creative teams, developing 3D assets, environments and animated sequences that align with the vision of the production 
Using animation software to produce high quality, detailed content 
Add lighting, texture, shading, colour and special effects to scenes/assets 
Working with the systems design team to establish and deliver a productive workflow for each project 
 
 
Skills/Qualifications: 
 
Proven experience of working in a studio or production company environment 
Knowledge of 3D software, particularly Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D. Texturing/Shading software such as Substance or Z brush is also desirable. 
Basic knowledge of Art theory e.g. composition and colour theory 
A strong portfolio, with examples of great 3D animation/motion graphic executions across a number of different channels 
Great Visual storytelling and editing skills 
Solid technical knowledge of Windows and Mac OS systems and software and the ability to optimise and troubleshoot workstations in use for the above activities 
Ability to work independently and use own initiative 
Strong communication skills 
Good time management skills 
Keen eye for detail and precision 
Ability to work to deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously 
 
 
Desirable Skills: 
 
Knowledge of real time software such as TouchDesigner/Notch 
Knowledge of CAD software such as Autocad/Sketchup/Vectorworks 
Experience of motion capture technology 
Knowledge of 2D animation software, particularly the Adobe suite (Premier Pro/AFX/ Photoshop) 
Experience of editing film footage including chroma keying
